1 v 1 FUTSAL CHALLENGE
A unique tournament like you've never seen before.
The quest for the undisputed 1v1 Champion!
WHAT IS IT
The Futsal Challenge is an organized tournament, in which participants will be playing in 1v1 Futsal matches and competing for the undisputed 1v1 Champion, in a challenging safe environment for creativity, drive, and self-development.
Each team is composed of 2 players, a goalkeeper and a field player, which can only switch positions before each match. These teams will be placed into separate pools, within each age group or division. There will be group matches followed by playoff matches. Top teams are placed in the Gold Division and bottom teams in the Silver division.
Matches will run for a total of 5 minutes non-stop. They'll follow regular Futsal rules, with the only difference being that goalkeepers cannot come out of the box or score and the ball is to be dribbled in, instead of kicked in.
We believe that most local players lack the opportunity to play in a free but also competitive environment, so Futsal Challenge aims to offer these players the freedom to play, expressing themselves and trying new things that are commonly "not allowed" in a club environment, while being challenged to compete and perform their best on the court.
Our objective is to familiarize players with the competitive environment, improving and encouraging the practice of Futsal and the interaction with other players.
Where is it going to be held? The event will take place at Sports Connection Northlake ( 8626 Hankins Rd. Charlotte, NC 28269)
