Futsal Training is Coming to South Academy of International Languages!

We are thrilled to announce that South Academy of International Languages (S.A.I.L.) will now be home to elite futsal training as part of our FC Bayern Futsal Academy program! This is a major step forward for futsal in Charlotte, giving young athletes a structured, high-level training environment that blends Brazilian creativity with FC Bayern’s world-class methodology.
Our academy is already successfully running futsal training at sister school, North Academy of World Languages (NAWL), with sessions on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This new addition at S.A.I.L. will now allow even more players to access top-tier futsal development in South Charlotte.
What is Futsal?
Futsal is a fast-paced, small-sided version of soccer played indoors with a smaller, low-bounce ball. Originating from South America, futsal sharpens ball control, quick thinking, and technical skills, making it an essential tool for player development. Many of the world’s top soccer players, including Messi, Neymar, and Ronaldo, credit futsal for their technical excellence.
Futsal Training at S.A.I.L.
We’re bringing year-round futsal training to S.A.I.L., offering two programs, on Mondays and Fridays, designed for all skill levels:
After-School Futsal Program (Ages 5-14)
🕞 3:30 PM – 4:45 PM
A great way for students to stay active, refine their soccer skills, and experience futsal in a fun and engaging environment.
Academy Training (Ages 5-17)
🕠 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Advanced training sessions focusing on technical mastery, decision-making, and high-level futsal tactics.
